Where available through third-party processing, local currencies will be offered to ensure a straightforward and transparent cost structure for our global user base.

By maintaining U.S. dollar pricing, DEVPN provides users with a clear and consistent basis for comparing our services with those of our competitors. This approach facilitates a fair evaluation of our offerings and also exerts public pressure on competitors to enhance their privacy coverage

Payment methods

To cater to a global range of user preferences, DEVPN supports a wide variety of payment methods.

• $DEVPN payments The $DEVPN utility token is the native payment method within our ecosystem and as such users will receive the greatest value for their investment utilizing it as a payment method for our services. Additionally, by utilizing $DEVPN customers contribute largest to the development of our decentralized network, enhancing its overall impact which ensures that all customers benefit.

• Traditional credit and debit card payments DEVPN recognizes that not all users may be familiar with DeFi cryptocurrencies, may prefer traditional payment methods, or might be restricted to using only these methods in their region. DEVPN accepts payments via credit and debit cards through third-party payments processors. DEVPN is also examining the market availability of prepaid credit cards to offer a more privacy-oriented alternative, particularly in non-Western regions. We plan to introduce this payment option through third-party processors (pending location) in the near future to enhance our ecosystem.

• Crypto payments As a Decentralized Finance utility project, DEVPN accepts payments on the two largest blockchains, offering experienced crypto users the flexibility to pay using Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and major stablecoins on both the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks. This option offers flexibility and a low threshold for consumers who wish to keep their payment wallets strictly separated or who simply want to pay using their preferred blockchain and tokens.

Transaction and conversion Fees

To maintain pricing and payment transparency, a small transaction fee is applied to cover the conversion costs incurred by DEVPN when payments are made using any currency other than $DEVPN tokens.

This includes costs such as bridging fees and third-party conversion charges, which vary by payment method and are transparently displayed to customers in their total overview before payment.

DEVPN utilizes the surplus payment to ensure that all transactions, regardless of the payment method, are efficiently managed and that funds flow back into our ecosystem in the form of $DEVPN.

Commitment to our users

DEVPN does NOT offer any automatically recurring payment fees and, unlike corporate providers, does not permit third-party payment agents to lock our customers into such payment contracts.

Our DAO structure ensures the handling of financial funds across all methods is managed responsibly, transparently, and professionally, utilizing capital management and balancing conversion risks.

This provides assurance to our stakeholder community, investors, and suppliers that DEVPN has a robust and transparent financial structure capable of managing long-term obligations and contracts.

Anonymous sign-up

DEVPN strongly advises users to sign up for our platform using a decentralized finance (DeFi) wallet.

Creating a DeFi wallet is entirely free and can be don using popular tools such as MetaMask, which is used by approximately 30 million users worldwide, and is considered to be the market leader.

Please note:

Authenticating on our platform with a DeFi wallet is not obligatory, nor does DEVPN ever require users to make payments in cryptocurrencies if they prefer to use traditional banking methods.

DEVPN does, however, highly recommend that users create a DeFi crypto wallet, as it is an excellent technical method to authenticate privately on platforms like ours or access support without disclosing your personal identity, and thus making your relationship to DEVPN entirely privacy orientated.

DEVPN operates our privacy services with a strong focus on decentralized methods, meaning the less we know about you, the more we are committed to differentiating ourselves from competitors and ensuring that your data, and that of your loved ones, remains private.

DEVPN hybrid services

DEVPN offers its privacy solutions in a hybrid format, meaning we combine traditional technology methods with advanced decentralized technology. This approach allows us to provide a higher grade of privacy while also offering the reliability and familiarity of traditional methods.

By integrating all technologies, we give our customers the best of all worlds, ensuring they do not have to choose between one or the other and can take full advantage of all available technical benefits.

Similarly, our payment methods as mentioned above are a hybrid solution as DEVPN allows payments in our $DEVPN token, various other cryptocurrencies, and traditional debit and credit card options.

This offers consumers a hybrid choice that best fits their needs, allowing them to make payments for subscription extensions or additional products using the method they prefer, entirely independently of how they made their initial payment on our platform.

DEVPN accounts and gifting solutions

DEVPN services are non-transferable once registered, meaning the ownership of the main account, which includes underlying accounts, cannot be transferred. However, main accounts are highly mobile, allowing DEVPN users to fully utilize their solutions regardless of their global location.

Main accounts that include a packaged service bundle, such as a Home One account, can allocate their included Hybrid VPN accounts to other users. This flexibility allows users to move across different regions independently while still enjoying uninterrupted access to all our services.

Additionally, DEVPN enables users to purchase and gift solutions entirely anonymously.

For example, parents can choose to provide a child who is going on vacation or moving to a different city to study with one of their dedicated Hybrid VPN accounts. They can also purchase a One Travel solution fully anonymously and gift it to their children, which is an ideal solution for students.

DEVPN promotions

DEVPN users are welcome to add and combine additional packages at any time. Any subscription packages acquired during an active subscription are simply added to the current subscription duration, allowing users to renew their subscriptions conveniently whenever they choose.

DEVPN users with an active subscription are also eligible to take advantage of our 'Friends & Family' promotion, which offers a win/win deal to receive bonus subscription for themselves and their friends or loved ones. The promotional bonus is added directly to both the current and new user’s balance.
